  13.     "RainbowSystem" is a 24  bit  (16  million  of  colours)  powerful
  14.   graphic functions library which  adapts  the  video  output  to  the
  15.   graphic hardware where it runs.

  17.   For example, an application which uses it, will be able  to  display
  18.   its  graphics  directly  in  16  million  colours on an Amiga with a
  19.   graphic card installed, or in 256 colours on an AGA Amiga, or  in  a
  20.   gray  scale on an ECS Amiga, without any modify by the programmer or
  21.   by the user!

  23.   So, using 'RainbowSystem' is  useful  for  the  users  and  for  the
  24.   programmers:  the  ones  can  use  applications which better work on
  25.   their hardware  (remember  that  'RainbowSystem'  doesn'  t  need  a
  26.   graphic  card, but it uses it if present), the others can (finally!)
  27.   forget shared pens, colormap, palette, public screens, etc. etc. and
  28.   can  create  very  powerful  applications,  running  on every public
  29.   screen directly in 16 million colours without any trouble, having in
  30.   service a very simple and powerful instructions set.
